He that is faithful in that which is least is faithful also in much: and he that is unjust in the least is unjust also in much.

In most companies, there is what’s known as the corporate ladder. Starting at the bottom often means working longer hours for lower pay, while those who prove themselves at each level gradually rise to the top. Promotion comes as a reward for consistency, excellence, and trustworthiness.

In the same way, God’s increase and promotion come from being faithful with what He has already given you. When you’re working in God’s company, excellence is required at every stage of the blessing ladder. Be diligent and consistent with every resource, responsibility, and opportunity He has entrusted to you, and watch Him bring the increase.

PRAYER FOR TODAY
Lord, help me to remain faithful in every responsibility You entrust to me. Teach me diligence and excellence so I may grow steadily into the increase You have prepared for me.

PROPHETIC DECLARATION
I am a faithful steward of every resource God has given me. I do not despise small beginnings, for God has something greater prepared for me. As I work diligently, I rise on God’s blessing ladder!

Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.

When a robber plans a heist, one of their priorities is to neutralise any guard dogs that might alert to the robber’s intrusion or attack them. Incapacitating these animals is seen as the most effective way to eliminate potential noise or resistance. One of the more common strategies is to lace the dog’s food with poison. The bait looks harmless, but it’s deadly. The enemy uses the same strategy.

When the devil seeks entry into your life, he targets your vulnerable areas and entices compromise through things that look appetising but are laced with poisonous repercussions. As a child of God, no weapon formed against you can prosper, but you must fortify every area of your life through the Word. The devil is fighting a losing battle, don’t give him an entry point.

PRAYER FOR TODAY
Father, help me to recognise and reject every subtle trap of compromise. Strengthen me through Your Word so no deception or enticement of the enemy finds access into my life.

PROPHETIC DECLARATION
I refuse every enticement from the enemy’s camp! Every area of my life is fortified in Christ through His Word. Every trap and snare of the devil is exposed now, in Jesus’ Name!

And there were seven sons of one Sceva, a Jew, and chief of the priests, which did so. And the evil spirit answered and said, Jesus I know, and Paul I know; but who are ye?

In the days of the Wild West, the government’s most wanted criminals became so notorious that posters hung outside taverns and inns offering rewards for their capture. They were known as the most wanted! Today’s passage shows the sons of Sceva attempting to cast out an evil spirit without possessing spiritual stature. The spirit replied, “Jesus I know, and Paul I know; but who are ye?”

The Lord Jesus and Paul carried such authority in the Kingdom that they were known even in the enemy’s camp on the devil’s most wanted list. Such spiritual stature is born from deep intimacy with God, consistent fellowship, and devotion to the things of the Spirit. Build yourself to the point where darkness recognises the Christ in you.

PRAYER FOR TODAY
Lord, draw me into deeper intimacy with You. Build my spiritual stature so the authority of Christ in me is evident and recognised in the realm of the Spirit.

PROPHETIC DECLARATION
In this Year of Strange Oil, I am building such spiritual stature that even the enemy recognises the presence of Christ in me!

1 Samuel 1-2; John 10:1-18

John 3:3 (KJV)
Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.

The umbilical cord connects a developing baby to its mother, providing nourishment, oxygen, and protection until birth. Once the child is born, that cord is no longer needed because the baby’s systems begin functioning independently.

Likewise, before salvation, you were sustained by sin’s umbilical cord, completely dependent on a life separated from God. But when you were born again, that cord was cut. Now it’s your duty to put away every resemblance to your former life of sin. You are now sustained by the life of Christ in you, a life that offers divine protection, nourishment, and eternal supply separate from the world. Don’t look back to the former things; your new life has already begun.

PRAYER FOR TODAY
Father, help me to walk fully separated from my old life. I choose to live by the life of Christ within me and never return to the ways of sin.

PROPHETIC DECLARATION
I am no longer sustained by the cord of sin! When I was born again, I received the life of Christ. His Spirit is my source and supply, in Jesus’ Name!

Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting.

There’s a familiar saying: “The grass is greener on the other side.” Many fall victim to this illusion. Some Christians face challenges and begin to think that life before Christ was easier than life with Him. However, the truth is the grass isn’t greener on the other side, it’s greener where you water it.

In your old life, you “watered the ground” by living according to the dictates of men. Now, to enjoy the full benefits of your life in Christ, you must water your ground through the Word and fellowship with Him. Your life is a garden, prune it with scripture and water it through continual communication with God.

PRAYER FOR TODAY
Lord, help me to invest consistently in the things of the Spirit. As I water my life with Your Word, let my life flourish and produce lasting fruit.

PROPHETIC DECLARATION
My life in Christ is a flourishing garden! I water and tend it with the Word. As I invest in the things of the Spirit, I reap life everlasting!

But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.

Most creatures in the animal kingdom follow the natural law of life and death. However, the Turritopsis dohrnii, known as the immortal jellyfish, possesses the extraordinary ability to revert to an earlier stage of life when injured or nearing death, resetting its life cycle again and again.

It may come as a surprise to you that every Christian carries an even greater source of regenerative power the Holy Spirit. His power in you can overcome the sting of death. When you recognise who lives in you, sickness and disease lose their grip. You are sustained by resurrection power, the very power that conquered death itself. This is the Year of Strange Oil; you are unkillable!

PRAYER FOR TODAY
Father, thank You for the resurrection power living in me. I receive strength, health, and divine life working in my body through Your Spirit.

PROPHETIC DECLARATION
Sickness and death have no power over me. The same Spirit that raised Christ from the dead lives in me; therefore, I cannot fail. People like me don’t die in a hurry!

THE PROOF OF MATURITY

Numbers 20:8 (NIV)
Take the staff, and you and your brother Aaron gather the assembly together. Speak to that rock before their eyes and it will pour out its water. You will bring water out of the rock for the community so they and their livestock can drink.

The maturity of a Christian isn’t measured by the miracles, signs, or wonders that follow them. Today’s verse recounts the moment God commanded Moses to speak to the rock so water would flow. Instead, Moses struckthe rock, yet water still flowed. This shows that visible results don’t always signify obedience. True maturity is proven by heeding God’s voice and aligning yourself with His instruction.

Personal growth and maturity depend on your fellowship with the Lord through prayer and the Word. Demonstrate your commitment to maturity by living according to God’s Word concerning you and your family. Remember, God is the Extraordinary Strategist; His way is always best!

PRAYER FOR TODAY
Lord, grow me in spiritual maturity. Teach me to obey Your instructions completely and to value fellowship with You above outward results.

PROPHETIC DECLARATION
God has empowered me for signs and wonders, but true maturity is shown through daily fellowship and obedience. I follow His voice, trust His plan, and my life flourishes!

Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.

In driving psychology, there’s a well-documented phenomenon called target fixation. When a driver shifts their gaze from the road, even briefly, their hands and steering naturally follow the direction of their eyes.

Likewise, many Christians still face the same turmoil as unbelievers because they haven’t fixed their focus on the things of God or turned away from their old way of living. Where your attention goes, your life follows. This is why Apostle Paul urges us to press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling. In this Year of Strange Oil, keep your eyes on the path ahead; let go of the past and move forward!

PRAYER FOR TODAY
Father, fix my focus on Your calling for my life. Help me to let go of the past and press forward with determination toward all You have prepared for me.

PROPHETIC DECLARATION
Like a focused driver, my eyes are set on the things of God. I reject my former way of life and press toward the high calling in Christ Jesus!
