  • How to be a Failure - Part 2: Blame Everyone But Yourself
    2026/08/30

Failure is assured when a person insists on absolute independence denying all debt to God and man while continuing to blame others for every frustration and defeat. This spirit of self-rule, masquerading as strength, is in fact a disease of the soul that mirrors the original demonic temptation to be “as God,” independent of all authority. Such independence leaves a man enslaved to his own appetites, ruled by pride, lust, anger, and frustration, and haunted by insecurity and defeat. True freedom comes only when this false independence is surrendered, responsibility for sin is acknowledged, and Christ is welcomed as King. When Christ reigns, the believer is no longer trapped by his own weakness but lives under the power, protection, and unfailing success of God Himself, finding liberty not in self-rule but in joyful submission to the Lord of hosts.

  • How to be a Failure - Part 1: Do as You Please
    2026/08/27

Failure and frustration are most easily achieved by two habits: doing exactly as you please and blaming everyone else for the results. When people insist on living for their own desires while demanding responsibility and obedience from others, they quickly undermine their homes, work, and relationships. This failure is accelerated when responsibility is shifted to parents, spouses, employers, society, or circumstances, because self-examination and repentance are carefully avoided. Scripture teaches that the true purpose of life is not self-pleasing but pleasing God, and that peace and joy come only through self-denial and honest confession of sin. When a person takes responsibility before God, stops excusing himself, and seeks to glorify the Lord rather than himself, frustration gives way to peace, because God does not fail and those who live under His rule are preserved by Him in every aspect of life.

  • Fear and Supersition
    2026/08/23

Superstition is fear expressed through charms, omens, and rituals meant to protect people from a universe they believe to be hostile, chaotic, and beyond control; whether ancient or modern, such practices reveal a deep conviction that blind forces rule life. Even when superstitious people claim belief in God, their god is functionally weak, unable to govern most of reality, leaving them to seek protection in symbols, horoscopes, or escapes from meaninglessness. Modern unbelief only intensifies this fear by portraying the universe as purposeless and impersonal. Scripture offers the only true answer: the sovereign God who created and governs all things, in whom there are no brute facts, no uncontrolled forces, and no meaningless events. When all of life is understood under God’s providence, fear gives way to confidence, superstition collapses, and believers can rest in the assurance that all things work together for good for those who belong to Christ.
