Nobody won, somebody lost, and we have a lot to say about it.

This week on Good Friends, Better Rivals, we break down a wild NFC East Sunday. The Giants and Commanders battled to a 27-27 tie, the kind of game where both fanbases leave feeling like they should have won and wondering how they didn’t lose. Meanwhile, the Cowboys dropped a tough one to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and the debate over what’s going wrong in Dallas is about to get loud.

We’re friends, we’re rivals, and we’re not holding back.

Week 4 is in the books, and it was a good one for both sides of the rivalry. On this episode of Good Friends, Better Rivals, we break down the Cowboys' nail-biting 34-30 win over Houston and the Giants' 36-24 victory.

CeeDee Lamb put the offense on his back with a 17-catch performance, and we talk about how he took over the game and what it means for this offense moving forward. The Cowboys needed every point to hold off the Texans in a back-and-forth shootout, and we dig into what worked, what didn't, and whether this team can keep winning games this way.

On the other side, the Giants put together a complete performance, capped off by Tae Banks sealing the game with an interception for a touchdown. We discuss what's clicking for New York, who stood out, and whether this is a sign of something real or just one good Sunday.

Friendly rivalry trash talk (as always)

Two fans, two teams, one rivalry. We're friends first, but nobody's holding back when it's time to talk football.

Week 3 gave both sides of the rivalry plenty to talk about, and not all of it was good.

In Rio de Janeiro, the Cowboys fell 34-31 to the Ravens on a last-second 56-yard Tyler Loop field goal. Dallas is now 1-2, and we dig into how a game the offense kept alive slipped away in the final seconds.

Meanwhile, the Giants won ugly in the rain, 12-7 over the Titans. It was New York's first game without Jaxson Dart after his season-ending knee injury, and the offense kicked four field goals and leaned on the ground game. It was far from pretty, but it moved them to 2-1. We talk about what the rest of the season looks like without Dart.

Then the big news: the Cowboys have traded for Steelers cornerback Joey Porter Jr., sending Pittsburgh a 2028 second-round pick and a 2027 sixth-round pick. Dallas desperately needs help on defense, which ranks 30th in total defense with no interceptions yet this season. Is Jerry Jones finally fixing the secondary, or did he overpay? We break down the price tag, what Porter brings after a monthslong contract standoff and a back issue, and whether he can debut against the Texans in Week 4.
