    2026/08/13

After 200 episodes of Goddess of Technology, I realized something surprising: The most valuable lessons I learned were not actually about technology.

    They were about people.

In this special 200th episode, I’m reflecting on 6 lessons that technology taught me about being human and why I believe our humanity will become even more important in the age of AI.

I'd love to hear your thoughts.

What has technology taught you about being human?

  • 199. Missing and Missed Indigenous Persons (MMIP): Solving a Crisis Through Technology and Community
    2026/08/06

The crisis of Missing and Missed Indigenous Persons, often abbreviated as MMIP, affects countless Indigenous families and communities across North America. Despite decades of advocacy, many disappearances remain unsolved, many victims remain unidentified, and many families continue their search for answers, justice and healing.

In this podcast episode, we’re exploring how historical injustices, jurisdictional challenges and gaps in data contribute to this crisis. We’re examining how Indigenous activists, researchers, governments and technology professionals are working together to improve investigations, strengthen communication and create systems that help bring people home.

Moreover, we’re learning how technologies such as geospatial mapping, interoperable databases, social media campaigns, artificial intelligence and forensic innovations are transforming the search for missing persons and supporting Indigenous communities in their pursuit of justice.

This episode is not merely about technology. It is about humanity, visibility and responsibility. It is about recognizing that innovation becomes most meaningful when it serves people whose voices have historically been overlooked.

Beautiful, if you have personal experiences, reflections or opinions on this topic, I would absolutely love hearing from you. Please send me an e-mail at coucou.goddess@gmail.com and share your thoughts. Your voice matters and contributes to our growing Goddess of Technology community.

  • 198. Thalidomide Scandal: The Price of Blind Trust in Health Advice
    2026/07/30

In this podcast episode, we’re learning about one of the largest pharmaceutical disasters in modern history: the Thalidomide scandal. We’re exploring how a medicine that is marketed as safe and revolutionary becomes responsible for thousands of devastating birth defects around the world and how this tragedy fundamentally changes drug safety forever.

Moreover, we’re examining a question that is surprisingly relevant decades later: Why do people continue trusting health claims without sufficient evidence? From miracle cures to questionable wellness advice on social media, history repeatedly demonstrates how hope, fear, marketing and authority can influence our health decisions.

This episode is not merely about the past. It is about you, beautiful. It is about understanding how scientific evidence works, why skepticism is a form of self-care, and how you can confidently navigate health trends in the age of TikTok, Instagram, YouTube and artificial intelligence.

If you’ve ever wondered whom to trust when it comes to your health, love, this episode is for you.

I would love hearing your opinion and, if applicable, your personal experience with this topic. Please send me an e-mail at coucou.goddess@gmail.com.
