God wants to reveal Himself to you through his word. No matter how simple your education level is God will make you wise.

For you have spent enough time in the past doing what pagans choose to do—living in debauchery, lust, drunkenness, orgies, carousing and detestable idolatry.

They are surprised that you do not join them in their reckless, wild living, and they heap abuse on you.

For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.

The creator of the universe knows you and wants to have a relationship with you. Follow Christ.

My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:

For as the sufferings of Christ abound in us, so our consolation also abounds through Christ.

"When you fast, do not look somber as the hypocrites do, for they disfigure their faces to show others they are fasting. Truly I tell you, they have received their reward in full. But when you fast, put oil on your head and wash your face, so that it will not be obvious to others that you are fasting, but only to your Father, who is unseen; and your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you.

There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.

All the ways of a man are clean in his own eyes; but the Lord weights the spirits.
