This strategy referred to as “friendship evangelism” is the thought that we ought to first become close friends with someone before we share the gospel with them. Is this idea found in the Bible? Is this how the apostles and early church were evangelizing? Or is it possible we have developed this habit out of a fear to open our mouths and speak the good news?

Some assume that it would only be our souls that are raised when Jesus comes back, but here in 1 Corinthians Paul makes it clear that it is actually our body that is raised. What does that mean for me now while I am still breathing? How does this teaching change my perspective on life?
