The hardest assignments from God are often the quiet ones, the moments when nobody is watching and your heart is pounding anyway. On my way home from a mission trip to Point Hope, Alaska, I’m sitting on a long flight from Anchorage when I hear the Spirit of the Lord press one clear thought into my heart: the mission is not finished. What happened next turns into a real-life lesson about fear, faith, and what obedience looks like when you feel trapped in the middle seat and you do not feel brave.

I reflect on what Point Hope taught me about God’s provision and purpose, and I share five simple takeaways that apply to everyday Christian life: God has a plan for your story, He provides what He requires, obedience matters, faith takes movement, and ministry is often about doing it for the one while living for an audience of One.
