• 233 // Feeling Abandoned by God? How to See His Loving Presence in the Silence [From the Archives]
    2026/05/26

[Today I’m resharing a message that I believe women may deeply need in this season.]

When life gets heavy and God feels silent, it’s easy to wonder if He’s abandoned you.

But His Word says something very different: God has promised never to leave you or stop loving you — no matter how things may look or feel.

In this episode, I share from my own journey of walking through seasons where God’s silence felt overwhelming and hopeless. We’ll explore how silence does not equal absence, why God sometimes waits to move until certain burdens are lifted, and the truth of His unshakable love.

You’ll also walk away with a simple but powerful exercise to help you replace the lies of abandonment with God’s promises, so you can rest in His presence and remember that His love is always near.

What you’ll learn in this episode:

    • Why God’s silence doesn’t mean He has abandoned you
    • How to hold onto His promises even when you can’t feel Him
    • A simple exercise to help you replace lies with truth and feel anchored in His love

  • 228 // Feel Too Wounded for God’s Love? Your Broken Heart Can Actually Deepen Your Relationship With Him
    2026/04/21

Do you feel too wounded to fully experience God’s love?

When you’ve been through deep pain, the weight of those wounds can feel overwhelming. Not only because of what happened—but because of how it continues to affect your life, your heart, and your ability to trust.

👉🏻At some point, you may have even started to believe: “I’m too broken for God.”

In this episode, we’ll gently uncover the truth: Your wounds are not the end of your story. With God, they can become the place where deeper relationship begins.

I share part of my own story—how, as a teenager, God was actively trying to get my attention. He revealed Himself to me through Christian friends and even supernatural experiences. But despite all of that, I couldn’t open my heart to Him.

Why? Because I had learned to protect it.

Growing up in an abusive environment taught me that guarding my heart was the safest option. And when you’ve been deeply wounded, that instinct doesn’t just disappear—even when God is reaching for you.

If you’ve ever felt that tension—you’re not alone.

Yet, God is so good, so holy, and so powerful that He can meet you in your pain—not only to bring healing, but to draw you into deeper intimacy with Him.

📖 Throughout the Bible, we see this again and again:

    • Mary Magdalene, who experienced deep spiritual torment, went on to have a close and devoted relationship with Jesus
    • Joseph, who endured betrayal, abandonment, and suffering, saw God move powerfully through his life
    • Hannah, who carried deep emotional pain, encountered God in a way that transformed her story

Their pain was real. Their wounds were deep. But their stories didn’t end there.

God met them in it—and their relationship with Him deepened because of it.

If you feel like your broken heart is holding you back from God, this episode will help you see how He is gently inviting you closer—even now.

  • 227 // Think You’re Not Worthy of God’s Love? Why He’s Seen You as Good Enough All Along
    2026/04/14

Do you feel like you’re not worthy of God’s love?

Maybe you’ve been trying to be “good enough” for Him—meeting expectations, avoiding mistakes, doing your best to get it right. But no matter how hard you try, it still feels like you fall short.

👉🏻 That feeling often comes from a deeper belief: that God’s love has to be earned.

And for many women, that belief didn’t start with God—it started in human relationships.

In this episode, we explore why feeling unworthy of God’s love is so common—and the biblical truth that sets you free from it.

I share personally how, growing up, love wasn’t something I consistently received—especially from my father. The message I internalized was clear: love had to be earned, and I wasn’t naturally worthy of it. Even the moments that felt like love often depended on my performance.

💯 When you grow up in that kind of environment, it’s easy to carry that same belief into your relationship with God.

So when God is presented as harsh, judgmental, or difficult to please—or when faith becomes about meeting a list of expectations—it can feel completely natural to believe that you have to prove you’re good enough for His love.

But the Bible tells a very different story.

💖 In this episode, we talk about:

    • Why God is not focused on your performance or perfection
    • How the belief that you’re not “good enough” is often rooted in past experiences
    • What actually happened when sin entered the world—and why we couldn’t fix it ourselves
    • How God responded with love by sending Jesus to restore relationship

Friend, you don’t have to earn what God has already freely given.

P.S. If you’ve been struggling to feel worthy of God’s love, I invite you to take my free quiz: What’s Your First Step to Fully Experiencing God’s Love? (https://www.relateescape.com/quiz). It will help you identify what’s been holding you back and give you a practical next step toward experiencing His love more fully.

  • 226 // Is the Version of God You Were Taught Wrong? How to Move Forward When Religion Misrepresents God
    2026/04/07

Is the version of God you were taught wrong?

For many women, one of the biggest struggles in faith is understanding who God truly is. Maybe you’ve been trying to reconcile the version of God you were raised with—a version that feels harsh, demanding, or impossible to please—with the God you want to believe is loving and good.

Or maybe you’ve spent years trying to earn God’s love, only to feel exhausted, discouraged, or like you’ve failed.

🤔 Either way, it’s natural to have questions.

In this episode, we talk about why questioning what you’ve been taught about God isn’t rebellion—it’s often the beginning of discovering biblical truth.

💯 In fact, that kind of honest questioning is something God welcomes.

The Bible shows us several examples of people asking questions as part of their journey of understanding God:

    • The disciples regularly asked Jesus questions about His teachings, the Kingdom of God, and His identity
    • Mary asked the angel how she could give birth to a son while still a virgin
    • The Samaritan woman at the well asked Jesus direct questions about His claims and about worship

💓 None of these people were rebuked for asking questions. Instead, their questions became opportunities for clarity, growth, and deeper understanding.

And discovering who God truly is can change everything. Learn how you can do the same.

P.S. If you’re looking for a safe place to ask questions, build a strong biblical foundation, and grow in your relationship with God, I invite you to join Relate Escape Place (https://www.relateescape.com/membership). You’ll find biblical teaching, powerful resources, and a supportive community designed to help you move forward in truth.
