  • BEING OK WITH WHAT WE HAVE RIGHT NOW
    2026/10/15

Greg and Scott talk about their relationship with their vanity. Greg introduces the concept of "loincloth logic." Scott and Greg discuss their shared reverence for The Lord of the Rings.

    -----

Go Bald With Us (GBWU) is a show where two village elders - - the bearded Greg (Zeschuk) formerly of BioWare and the sometimes-bearded Scott (C. Jones) formerly of EP Daily - - wax poetic about the trials/tribulations of growing old. Er, older. What exactly do we lose when we age? More importantly, what do we gain? You know, besides occasional episodes of ED and the senior discount at our favourite fast food restaurants?

Go Bald With Us is a natural extension of the pithy, extremely nerdy conversations that Greg and Scott had in 2024 in various coffee shops in the woefully underrated metropolis of Edmonton, AB. And, yes, you can suck it, Calgary.

Persistent topics include: our aging parents, our evolving relationships with our wizening peer groups, painful life transitions, what we can do to keep ourselves looking/feeling youngish and virile and potent, and, of course, our ever-receding hairlines. (So long, hair follicles.) Oh. And because we both worked in video games for several decades, we talk about games. Maybe a bit too much sometimes. So join us, weekly-ish, to listen to our authentic, clear-eyed, and very, very frank conversations where we explore the wonders of growing old, together.

Meet Greg and Scott. They are a pair of 50-something-year-old men. They love video games, despite their age, as they both have worked in games for many years. Greg and Scott are ready to talk openly and honestly about the things they lose - - and gain - - as they age. On today's show, Greg and Scott discuss the value of reinvention in life and why it is necessary.
