  • IS THE GRAND OLD PARTY DEAD? WHAT ARE WE LEARNING FROM REPUBLICAN VOTERS
    2024/01/23

I have an update on the latest political news, and as promised, I share some of the article by Dana Milbank for The Washington Post, "The last remnants of the Republican Party died in Iowa."

    https://www.washingtonpost.com/opinions/2024/01/15/2024-iowa-caucuses-gop-candidates-trump/

In one section, Milbank describes some of Trump's only speech in Iowa. It begins with a Campaign Video that proclaims that Trump is "God's" Candidate and that he was created to fix our country.

Here is the excerpt from the article where he quotes Trump.

“We’ve got a crooked country,” run by “stupid people,” “corrupt,” “incompetent,” “the worst.”

Trump, in the gospel according to Trump, was the victim of “hoaxes,” “witch hunts,” “lies,” “fake indictments,” “fake trials,” judges who “are animals,” a “rigged election,” “rigged indictments,” and a “rigged Department of Justice where we have radical left, bad people, lunatics.

The nation’s capital, Washington, D.C., “is a rat-infested, graffiti-infested shithole,” he said, with swastikas all over the national monuments.

His opponents, the prophet Trump continued, are “Marxists,” “communists,” “fascists,” “liars, cheaters, thugs, perverts, frauds, crooks, freaks, creeps,” “warmongers” and “globalists.”

Immigrants are like a “vicious snake,” whose “bite is poisonous,” he told them, and there is an “invasion” at the border by “terrorists,” “jailbirds,” and “drug lords.”

“Our country is dying,” he informed them. And, by the way, “You’re very close to World War III.”

    Have a nice day!"

    End quote

Since Milbank wrote the article, DeSantis has dropped out, and even though Nikki Haley may get a bump up from this, more and more Republicans are publically supporting the MAGA Candidate, Donald Trump.

  • How long will Detainees Stay at the Florida Swamp Concentration Camp?
    2025/07/05

How long will Detainees Stay at the Florida Swamp Concentration Camp? A Day? A Week? A month?

A simple question, one that a younger Donald Trump could easily handle or deflect.

    Not anymore.

Following a tour of the deplorable U. S. Concentration Camp in Ochopee, Florida, a Fox Propaganda (not a news network) reporter asked Trump that question.

His response is more proof, on exhibit every day, that Trump is spiraling down into dementia.

  • Trump's ONE BIG UGLY Budget: A Crisis for America
    2025/07/05

I fully expected the big, ugly budget to pass. No question. Still, when it happened, all the months of reading and researching hit home. And not in a good way.

Maybe it was Congressman Hakeem Jeffries' impassioned 9-hour filibuster, ironically called a "MAGIC MINUTE."

This feeling of sorrow and dread stems from the fact that I watched the speech rather than sleep.

And I'm sure the fact that the 4th of July, Independence Day, is my favorite holiday has contributed to this feeling that my country is gone,

It's not going to be the same this year due to the horror of watching ICE agents drag Americans off the streets because they "look" like immigrants.

And it's going to get worse for several reasons, including the additional BILLIONS OF dollars in the Ugly Budget for ICE.

And this is my opinion, the agents, the people in charge, seem to be the DUMBEST people on earth.

Yes, that would be the "Puppy Killer" Noem, who does not know the definition of "habeas corpus" and the Hobo Looking Tom Hollman.

Every day that passes, he looks more and more like a crazy homeless man who needs a bath, wandering the streets, looking for a free meal.

They are dumb and mean, the worst combination.

Thanks for letting me share my thoughts. Please subscribe.

Coming up, a wrap in the ugly budget, and more on the Concentration Camp in Florida.

BACKGROUND ON THE JEFFERIES "MAGIC MINUTE." THIS IS FROM WIKIPEDIA:

The magic minute, or leadership minute, is a custom in the United States House of Representatives that allows party leaders to speak for as long as they wish, in contrast with other members, who have to adhere to strict time limits. Speeches one minute in length are allowed before or after legislative sessions every day.

Members are asked to stay within a 300-word limit. The speeches are granted permission from the Speaker. The magic minute is distinct from the Senate filibuster. The House speaker, majority leader, and minority leader are afforded this privilege, and their speeches are considered to have taken one minute, regardless of actual length. This ensures that other members' allotted times are not taken up.

The House parliamentarian has advised in response to queries regarding time limits that "it is the custom of the House to hear the leader's remarks" and that party leaders had "used a customary amount of time" in answer to parliamentary inquiries about how much time had elapsed since they began speaking.

    2025/05/18

WHY TRUMP'S MIDDLE EAST TRIP TURNED INTO A TOTAL FIASCO!

THERE ARE A NUMBER OF REASONS THIS WAS A CASE OF A CLOWN MEETING THE CROWN.

Just one of Trump's "deals" in the Middle East could result in American Companies building Chip and Artificial Intelligence factories in the MIDDLE EAST.

    NOT IN AMERICA.

    What happened to "America First?"

WHY AREN'T THOSE FACTORIES BEING BUILT HERE!

Trump is crippling Americans with higher Tariff-Taxes while he is helping Saudi Arabia and other Middle Eastern countries take our technology and future HIGH-TECH JOBS.

This podcast episode of Political Woman is more about Money. It is also about Human Rights in the Middle East, and the War in Ukraine. Trump did nothing to resolve the Blockade of Gaza or to work with our Allies to end the War.

  • Can Trump Change Who Gets Citizenship in America?
    2025/05/17

On his first day in office, 2025, Donald Trump signed an executive order to change who gets citizenship in the United States.

But Executive Orders are not LAW, and his document was immediately challenged in courts across the country. Three Federal Courts blocked Trump's attack on the 14th Amendment and Birthright Citizenship.

Trump asked the Supreme Court to stop lower courts from blocking his Executive Orders. Arguing that one or two Federal Courts do not have the power to stop the entire country from following his orders.

The Supreme Court heard historic arguments on Thursday, as the Trump administration seeks to challenge the constitutional provision that guarantees automatic citizenship to all babies born in the United States.

And yet, as I explained above, the arguments focused primarily on a different question entirely—a legal question regarding nationwide injunctions that could make it much more difficult and time-consuming to bring challenges to all of Trump's legal policies, not just this one.

If this is a test case, it is a doozy. Birthright Citizenship is guaranteed in the 14th Amendment.

  • IS THE FEDERAL RESERVE SECRETLY FREAKING OUT ABOUT TARIFFS?
    2025/05/12

Is the Federal Reserve secretly freaking about about Trump's tariffs?

The Federal Reserve has been quietly observing the economic landscape, and some experts believe they're secretly freaking out about the impact of tariffs on the US economy. But you wouldn't know if you were to closely study Fed Chairman Jerome Powell.

Another example of Trump's flip-flopping began on Friday when he said he was open to lowering the tariffs he placed on China. This weekend, US and Chinese officials met in Switzerland. And lo and behold, there is news. It's not great, but it's a step in the right direction.

According to the BBC, Global stocks are up after China and the U.S. agreed to slash tariffs by 115 per cent. The deal is temporary, and the U.S. Tariff of 30 percent is still HIGH. This is from the BBC "After months of tit-for-tat tariff measures, the US and China have announced a major reduction in levies against each other, albeit temporarily. It marks a de-escalation of the ongoing trade war between the two countries. Here's what we've learned so far today: Both sides are set to slash tariffs by 115% - with US tariffs on Chinese products falling to 30% and China's reciprocal tariffs on the US falling to 10% The changes will take effect on Wednesday and continue for 90 days - allowing time for both sides to ease tensions through negotiations.

  • KASH PATEL CAUGHT IN A LIE TO CONGRESS?
    2025/05/08

Is Kash Patel guilty of deceiving Congress? Did the FBI director lie to Congress during his Senate Confirmation Hearing?

On Wednesday, Patel testified before the House Appropriations Committee’s Subcommittee on Commerce, Justice, Science, and Related Agencies about the FBI’s fiscal year 2026 budget request. Democratic Rep. Madeleine Dean of Pennsylvania used the Budget hearing to question Patel about the arrest of Milwaukee County Circuit Court Judge Hannah Dugan.

The Congresswoman also accused the FBI Director of lying during his confirmation hearing.

Dean mentioned her role as a manager in the second impeachment of President Donald Trump over the Jan. 6, 2021, riot at the Capitol building while claiming Patel was “weaponizing” the government. When can I, a former impeachment manager, expect the FBI at my door?” Dean asked Patel, who responded, “You want to know who was targeted by a weaponized FBI? Me.”

The questioning went down hill from there.

  • WHY DOES PRIME MINISTER MARK CARNEY TOLERATE TRUMP?
    2025/05/07

Donald Trump was embarrassingly Insufferable today when meeting with the newest leader of our former closest ally, Canada. The U.S. President has repeatedly threatened to make our Neighbor to the north our 51st State. And Canadians are appalled and disgusted by that threat. Today, newly elected Prime Minister Mark Carney clearly declared, "Some things are not for Sale, Canada is not for Sale. Ever."

And the bully president replied, "Never say never."

President Trump and Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney spoke to reporters as they met in the Oval Office to discuss U.S.-Canada trade and military relations, and the prime minister's first trip out of the country since becoming Canada's top legislator.

Mr. Carney reiterated his earlier stance that Canada was "not for sale," despite President Trump's reiteration of his desire for the nation to become the 51st state. The two talked about the ongoing dispute on tariffs, specifically those levied on automakers and suppliers who work on both sides -- and across -- the border.

So why does Carney tolerate Trump? Because it's his job and he is a diplomat and a gentleman. And He is doing it for the good of his country. Lucky Canada.
