  • When Your Mind Refuses To Let The Day End - Session 135
    2026/08/31

When Your Mind Refuses to Let the Day End

    You finally get into bed.

The day is over—but your mind hasn’t received the message.

You replay something you said. You wonder what another person meant. You think about what must be done tomorrow. One thought leads to another until you are caught in a conversation that is happening entirely inside your own head.

Your body begins to join in.

Your stomach tightens. Your breathing changes. Sleep feels further away. You tell yourself to stop thinking, but the harder you try, the more determined your mind seems to become.

What you want is not complicated.

You want to go to bed without having to fight your own thoughts. You want to sleep properly, wake with a clearer mind and feel more present with the people who matter to you.

You want to feel like yourself again.

But when this continues night after night, the consequences begin to spread.

You become tired, less patient and less able to concentrate. Small problems feel heavier. Decisions become harder. Even the thought of another restless night can begin creating tension before you get anywhere near the bed.

You may have learned to live around it.

That does not mean you have to continue living with it.

For more than 30 years, I have helped clients explore the patterns beneath experiences like these—not by diagnosing them, judging them or handing them a generic script, but by taking the time to understand what is happening in their particular life.

Together, we look beyond the racing thoughts themselves.

We explore what sets the spiral in motion, what keeps it going and how your mind and body may have learned to respond automatically—even when that response is no longer helping you.

Change does not require you to force every thought out of your mind.

It begins by helping your mind and body learn a different response.

Imagine reaching the end of your day and being able to leave it there. Imagine sleeping without replaying every conversation, waking with greater clarity and discovering that calm no longer feels like something you have to chase.

That is not a promise of instant perfection.

It is a credible possibility—and it begins with a private conversation in which you can explain what has been happening and feel properly heard before deciding whether working together is right for you.

I offer you a complimentary, confidential conversation about what you are experiencing and what you would like to change.

  • Why Do I Feel Guilty All The Time? Session - 134
    2026/08/19

“Why Do I Feel Guilty All the Time?”, Do you ever feel guilty for saying no?

Guilty for putting yourself first? For disappointing someone? For something you said years ago — or perhaps for something that was never really your responsibility in the first place?

Many people — probably just like you — carry guilt long after it has stopped serving any useful purpose.

In this episode, Why Do I Feel Guilty All the Time?, I explore the important difference between healthy guilt — the kind that helps us recognise a mistake, make amends and grow — and the kind of guilt that quietly turns into self-punishment.

We'll also spend a few minutes together in a simple guided exercise designed to help you look at something you've been carrying with greater understanding and compassion.

Because there is an enormous difference between:

    “I did something I regret.”

    and

“There is something wrong with me.”

You can take responsibility without condemning yourself.

You can learn from yesterday without continuing to live there.

And perhaps it's time to offer yourself some of the kindness you've spent years giving to everybody else.

You cannot change yesterday. But you can change your relationship with yesterday.

🎧 Take 20 minutes for yourself and join me for this conversation.

If something in this episode resonates with you and you'd like to explore your own situation privately, I also offer a free, confidential one-to-one strategy call. No pressure and no obligation — simply an opportunity to understand what's happening and explore what might help you move forward.

  • Session 133 - Why Do I Keep Ruining Good Things. When They're Finally Going Well?
    2026/07/17

Why do you keep walking away from the very things you've always wanted?

Have you ever noticed that just when life starts getting better... you begin to doubt yourself?

A relationship is going well, yet you start pulling away. Work is finally falling into place, but you begin questioning everything. Someone genuinely cares about you, and suddenly you find yourself expecting it all to end.

If you've ever thought, "Why do I keep ruining good things?", this episode is for you.

What if you're not sabotaging your happiness at all? What if your brain is trying to protect you using old information that no longer reflects the life you're living today?

In this powerful episode of Global Hypnotherapy with Aidan Noone, you'll discover why self-sabotage is often misunderstood, how your brain learns protective patterns, and why understanding those patterns is the first step towards lasting change.

    This isn't about blame.

    It's about understanding.

Because once you understand why your brain reacts the way it does, you stop seeing yourself as the problem—and begin seeing a genuine path forward.

Your brain isn't working against you. It's trying to protect you. Sometimes, it simply needs new information.

Remember... you are not broken. You are understandable.
Your brain has been trying to protect you with the information it has.The good news is this: the brain can learn, the brain can change, and so can you.Until next time, take good care of yourself.
