On the 19th episode of the Gilbert Connect podcast, Director of Food Service Tace Clarke joins the podcast to bring the Gilbert CSD stakeholders up to date on her department. Chef Clarke joined the district in January and has already done some amazing things! Hear about her career, how she came to Gilbert, and about some of the changes she's already made and some of the changes she would like to make in the future. On the 18th episode of the Gilbert Connect podcast, Director of Technology Jason Holtan joins the program to talk about safety and security throughout our district. Mr. Holtan and co-host Vic Vanderpool took the lead on a Safety and Security grant the district recently received. Run time is approximately 29 minutes.

On the 17th episode of the Gilbert Connect podcast, new school board members Nathan Kerns and Mindy Rash join the discussion to talk about their new roles in the Gilbert Community School District. Both will be sworn in as new board members on Monday, Dec. 11, 2023. 

In the 16th installment of the Gilbert Connect podcast, several of our new teachers to the district in 2023-24 - Megan McLennan, Stacey Rivera, Abby Brinkman, and Jaime Anderson - join the conversation to talk about their first few months on the job and their impressions of Gilbert CSD. In episode No. 15 of the Gilbert Connect podcast, Gilbert cross country head coaches Laura Kautman and Aaron Thomas stop by to talk about the fall season. The Tigers are currently ranked No. 1 (boys) and No. 2 (girls) in Class 3A as they head into the final month of the season. They talk about their teams, the sport, and they divulge what they think their times would be if they ran in a meet. This is a fun one.

On the 14th episode, and first episode of Season 2, of the Gilbert Connect Podcast - Superintendent Dr. Christine Trujillo and School Board President Andrew Ricklefs stop by to talk about the upcoming November bond election. They give the history of the district's master facilities plan, what is included in the bond, and so much more information that will be useful to district parents, residents, and voters leading up to the vote.

Gilbert Middle School Principal Mike Danilson joins the Gilbert Connect podcast for episode No. 13. The middle school is currently up for a prestigious national award and Mr. Danilson graciously came on to talk about that, as well as other happenings in the building.

In the 12th installment of the Gilbert Connect podcast, the tables are turned on co-host Troy Banning. Co-host Vic Vanderpool, Dr. Christine Trujillo, and Jen Schnormeier interview Gilbert's Director of Community Engagement on the evolution of communications throughout the district.
