Alexa Bliss and Charlotte Flair speak backstage. Tatum Paxley jumps in, excited to hang out with them. Jade Cargill, Michin, and B-Fab interrupt. Michin vs. Tatum is made for next week. Tatum is excited that Charlotte defended her.

Trick Williams calls out Baron Corbin. Corbin comes out, and Trick challenges him to a match. Corbin says the title is getting a haircut and that Trick isn’t getting another shot at it. Lil Yachty attacks Corbin with the kendo stick. Corbin says he wants to face Lil Yachty at Sunday Night’s Main Event in a five minute challenge. If Yachty survives, Trick gets his title shot. Yachty agrees to the match.

Kevin Owens speaks with Cathy Kelley backstage, but they are quickly interrupted by Finn Balor. Finn would’ve liked a heads up that Kevin was returning. Gunther interrupts and says KO doesn’t have to worry about Balor, he has to worry about him.

Undisputed WWE Championship: CM Punk (c) def. Kevin Owens. Sami Zayn interfered, initially helping Owens, but then hitting Owens with the title, leading to Punk winning.

LA Knight & Solo Sikoa kicked off the show, but they were interrupted by The Usos. After Sikoa dodged Jey Uso’s “warning shot”, The Usos challenged Sikoa & Knight to a tag match later tonight.

Dominik Mysterio & JD McDonagh confronted Rey Mysterio backstage, but Je’Von Evans laid them out.

A vignette aired for Lola Vice.

Bron Breakker & Oba Femi appeared for a contract signing. After a war of words, Breakker signed the contract. This was a trap as Austin Theory appeared to back up Bron Breakker. Femi tossed Breakker out of the ring and powerbombed Theory before signing the contract.

Jacob Fatu confronted The Usos, reiterated he did not take orders from their punk asses. Usos told Jacob to stay in the back.

Dominik Mysterio & JD McDonagh attacked Evans after the match.

Iyo Sky met with Sol Ruca backstage, saying she would be in her corner. Lyra Valkyria tried to talk Ruca out of the match, but Ruca disregarded Valkyria.

World Heavyweight Championship Contender Tournament: Penta def. LA Parka.

Solo Sikoa & LA Knight had a pep talk ahead of their match against The Usos later tonight.

There was a vignette for Zilla Fatu & NXT Heatwave.

Ethan Page confronted Chad Gable. Page criticized Gable for evading, but Gable responded by giving him a title match.

Stephanie Vaquer was told she will challenge for the WWE Women’s World Title on September 7th. Vaquer said she will not need Becky Lynch’s help.

LA Knight & Solo Sikoa vs. The Usos (Jey Uso & Jimmy Uso) Ended in a No-Contest.

Royce Keys & OTM (Lucien Price & Bronco Nima) laid out everyone in the match to end the broadcast.

Andrade then called out MJF; however, MJF sent a video from a Pool in Long Island. MJF said the last time he would see Andrade was in Wembley. Andrade responded by hitting a DM on Jonathan Cruz.

Mercedes Moné & Willow Nightingale had a satellite interview. Moné said Willow was nothing more than a bully, always a thorn in her side.

AEW Continental Cup Challenge Quarterfinal: Nigel McGuinness def. Hechicero.

Kevin Knight called out Darby Allin for a chat…. it was a trap. Allin got bombarded with pyrotechnics before Kevin Knight attacked him and hit a Coast to Coast on Allin. Steve Borden & the medical crew carried Allin to the back.

The Elite (Kenny Omega, Matt Jackson & Nick Jackson) vs. The Don Callis Family (El Clon, Mark Davis and Jake Doyle)

The rest of the DCF attacked The Elite before Cage & Cope made the save. After some friction ensued between The Young Bucks, Cage & Cope, the brawled headed to backstage.

The belt is comically big.

The set up for Gore Games isn't as impressive as it was last year for GCW vs. JCW. The match also wasn't as good as last year's GCW vs. JCW match. At one point the GCW crew start being rowdy and get in the ring. At one point, the Luchiano’s try to get a barb wire crutch down and they cant get it down.
