The Geek Culture Congress is back with another episode packed with geek, nerd, comic book, movie, and pop-culture talk!

This week, the crew breaks down the Season 1 finale of HBO’s Lanterns—including the shocking revelations surrounding Noah, Sinestro, Hal Jordan and John Stewart. We discuss the show’s grounded detective-story approach, the controversial lack of a traditional Green Lantern suit, the Easter eggs hidden throughout the finale, the mysterious Dark Lantern, and what Sinestro’s plans could mean for the future of the DC Universe.

Could Hal Jordan return? What does John Stewart’s new path mean for the DCU? And how could Lanterns connect to Superman, Guy Gardner, Man of Tomorrow, and the larger James Gunn DC Universe?

Then we jump over to Marvel and talk Avengers: Doomsday, the latest poster, the current hype surrounding the movie, and what we expect from the next trailer.

Plus, the guys get into Transformers and Hasbro, Paramount’s plans for the franchise, Steven Spielberg’s involvement, Michael Bay, the potential Hasbro cinematic universe, and whether Transformers and G.I. Joe should continue separately.

It's a full episode of hot takes, Easter eggs, comic book lore, speculation, laughs, and plenty of debate.
