Marty Milquetoast interviews local Savannah improv comedian and performer Garrett Zayjac and promotes Marty Milquetoast’s Halloween Extravaganza on October 31, 2026 at 8:00 PM at Victory North Savannah, where Garrett will perform mentalism.

Garrett discusses how improv is his main focus, why he performs (“safety in attention”), and early performances including a fourth-grade weather video and a fifth-grade Black History Month assembly impersonation. He recounts first doing improv with Front Porch Improv at Bull Street Labs, feeling like improv is still “LARPing,” and describes bombing moments and onstage mishaps.

Garrett shouts out actor Ian Whitt, shares favorites (jalapeño chips, X-Files, Star Trek: TNG, sketch shows), and highlights producing Ghosted Improv, a haunted long-form show. He explains his upcoming Game Show Trolley tour concept and where to find Ghosted and the trolley online.
