Created by roboticist Joe Jones – inventor of the Roomba – Franklin Robotics’ Tertill is a robot designed to live in your garden and take care of the weeding, come rain or shine.
On this episode Joe talks about how much robots break our hearts. We do everything we can to figure them out then everything changes. It was the idea of learning about how plants need space in order to grow that inspired Joe to look toward agriculture. Building a robot that weeds a home garden. What they learned with Tertill was how much it actually kills the weeds before they even come up.
