Fresh off surviving The Trial, the gang barely has time to celebrate before time itself decides to stop working.

While everyone else freezes in place, our heroes, Advisor Primera, and the increasingly concerning Mr. Mark find themselves surrounded by an army of shadowy figures.

Naturally, things escalate quickly: Riffle weaponizes card tricks, Emathion discovers the tactical value of throwing Erik, Sebastian continues his budding friendship with a blood-covered ventriloquist dummy, and Erik becomes a ghost warrior while his new dog remains mostly useless.

Primera goes toe-to-toe with something far more dangerous, a mysterious “Paraclete” sends their enemy running, and just when everything seems under control, an entire arena full of people turns toward the gang with black eyes.

So… probably fine.

The gang wakes up after their first night in Caelum Der and immediately get thrown into The Trial!—a totally safe, definitely-not-deadly series of trials meant to test their wits, strength, and general employability.

What follows is a mad dash through personalized puzzle rooms filled with riddles, animated weapons, suspicious furniture, questionable math, and an alarming amount of eating important pieces of paper. Somehow, against all odds and occasionally good judgment, lessons are learned, property is destroyed, Mr. Mark remains deeply unsettling, and Riffle discovers the secret to success: when in doubt, eat the paper.

Welcome Back, travellers!

A strange man emerges from the alley right into a PARADE ROUTE! Our adventurers (Erik, Riffle, Emathion, and I guess this Sebastian Cowl fella.) respond by playing with balloons, stealing stuff, eating hot dogs and RECKONING WITH THE INHERENT EXISTENTIALISM OF THE REVEAL!!!! Also, Primera is acting pretty tricky, IMO.

....and some other existentialist stuff (**maybe even fatalist and nihilist**) HAPPENS... what i'm trying to say is that this episode is verrrry Intro to Psych but with, like, monsters and stuff.
