On this episode of the Yes We Can Podcast, host Kira Andersen sits down with longtime Edward Jones financial advisor Patrick Chanod to talk about his remarkable journey from a difficult childhood in Staten Island and failing out of college to working on Wall Street, building a successful career, and eventually redefining what success truly means.

Patrick opens up about witnessing September 11th firsthand, experiencing heartbreaking loss, losing two of his closest friends, his mental health journey, and the role faith, therapy, mindfulness, and family have played in shaping the man he is today. He also shares why stepping away from status and titles helped him discover a deeper purpose: helping others navigate life’s inevitable “cliffs” and find their way through the fog.

Patrick’s message is simple but powerful: Remember, you will die. Don’t sweat the small stuff, focus on what truly matters, and don’t be afraid to ask for help when you need it.
