What happens when a woman who has survived abuse, addiction, homelessness, and three suicide attempts decides she's done just surviving? You get someone like Mia Vone — trauma recovery specialist, soon-to-be podcast host, and living proof that healing is possible even when the wounds run deep.

In this powerful conversation, Vickie sits down with Mia for the kind of honest, unfiltered talk that only happens when two women who've done the real inner work get together. They explore how childhood trauma shapes our core beliefs, why happiness can actually feel dangerous to a trauma survivor, and what it truly takes to rewrite the story you've been living by default.

Mia shares her journey from alcoholism, eating disorders, and a life-threatening domestic violence incident to finding her dream marriage, her life's purpose, and a deep peace she never thought she'd know. Together, Vickie and Mia unpack the power of the nervous system, EFT tapping, schemas, and why real healing requires a body-first, multidimensional approach.

Whether you're a coach, a survivor, or someone who just knows there's more waiting for you on the other side of your story, this episode will move you.
