That experience eventually taught her one of the most important lessons of her work: good intentions don't always equal positive impact.

Megan's approach isn't about choosing one extreme over another. It's about hearing everyone, honoring different lived experiences, learning from our history, and focusing on what we can control today—how we show up, how we raise the next generation, and the legacy we leave behind.

Megan also shares her own courageous leap from school superintendent to entrepreneur. She left behind a stable career, title and income as a single mother—with no clients—and built US² Consulting into a company that has served organizations around the world.
