Jake is back from Canada after calling the World Flag Series in Toronto over the weekend and recaps his weekend up north.
Drew Carter joins the show to discuss his journey from calling games in college to becoming the television voice of the Boston Celtics and one of the signature voices of the Premier Lacrosse League.
Drew shares the story behind landing the Celtics job, winning a championship and riding the duck boats during his first season in Boston, and what it’s like working alongside Brian Scalabrine. He also dives into calling the PLL Championship Game on ABC and the unique preparation required for ESPN’s animated broadcasts.
Jake and Drew reminisce about their college broadcasting days, calling ACC tennis together and an unforgettable road trip to Dayton involving a Chick-fil-A milkshake.
We wrap up the show with That's Wild of the Week and Tip of the Cap of the Week.
