  • In Sickness & In Health — Did He Really Show Up?
    2026/08/28

A follower asked us something that stopped me in my tracks: how did watching my mama get failed by her partner during her illness shape what I needed from Chance? We got real honest — about the hardest season of our marriage, how Chance admits he wasn't there for me the way he should've been when mama was sick, and how that fear made me hide my own sickness from him for years. Then fast forward to my hip surgery, and baby, he surprised me. We also get into my very real concerns about possibly needing a full hip replacement and why I'm not totally here for putting something in my body that didn't grow there. New episode every Friday.

  • Does Death Erase the Trauma They Left Behind?
    2026/08/21

This episode, Chance and I are getting into something a lot of people don't talk about — what happens when someone who caused you real trauma, or was absent from your life, passes away? Does their death erase what they did? Do you owe them grief? Do you have to show up? Chance got deeply personal about his absent father and what he imagines he'd truly feel and do if that day came. We also talked about why "don't forget where you came from" gets used as a weapon, Brandy's powerful story about caregiving for a parent who hurt her, and why your healing cannot be attached to an apology you may never receive. • We Have Strong Feelings about the Raising Kanan Season Finale
    2026/08/17

⚠️ Spoiler alert — we mean it. This week me and Chance did something we've never done before: a full TV show recap. And it got heated. We broke down the Raising Kanan season finale, debated who was really responsible for the family falling apart (Kanan or Rock?), mourned Uncle Marvin like he was real family, and Chance made his position very clear — he has never liked Kanan, not even once. If you're a Power fan, this one's for you.

  • Red Flag or Green Flag? We're Judging Your Dating Decisions | Fridays with Tab and Chance
    2026/08/07

We played a game this week and it did NOT disappoint. Me and Chance went through a full red flag, green flag relationship quiz — and let's just say we don't always agree. Work wives, exes' stuff still at the house, going through phones, splitting the bill on the first date, sex on the first night… we covered it all. Chance added a whole yellow flag category. I stood my ground. Blackie may or may not be a red flag depending on who you ask.

  • We're Tired — An Honest Conversation About Black Life and Nolan Wells
    2026/08/01

This one is heavy — and it's supposed to be. Me and Chance sat down to talk about the weight of being Black in America. The weight of raising Black children. The weight of still showing up with joy and grace in a world that doesn't always value our lives. This conversation was sparked by the Nolan Wales case and everything it stirred up in us as parents, as a couple, and as Black people. Chance shares things he was reluctant to say on camera. I share things I carry since I was 10 years old. We said what needed to be said.

  • Vacation vs. Field Trip — Are Do We Have different expectations?
    2026/07/25

Me and Chance got into something that sounds simple but went deep fast — what's the difference between a vacation and a field trip, and are couples even going on the same kind of trip when they travel together? Chance broke down why family trips, itineraries, and historical sites all register as "field trips" in his brain, and why that goes all the way back to childhood. This one is going to make a lot of couples look at each other differently. And yes, Africa came up.

  • Natural Born Leaders: Knowing When to Lead and When to Follow
    2026/07/17

This episode started as one thing and turned into something so much deeper. Me and Chance got into what it really means to be a leader — not the performance of it, but the real thing. Chance talks about leading from childhood, protecting his friends before he even had words for it, and why his mama refusing to make him say "yes ma'am" to someone who hadn't earned it changed everything. We also talk about code switching, knowing when to follow your partner, and why some of us are born leaders while others learn to be one. This one hit different.

  • Who Are You When You're Not Needed?
    2026/07/10

This one got deep fast. Me and Chance are talking about who you are when all the titles are stripped away — no mother, no father, no provider, no caretaker. Just you. We both realized we've been needed by somebody since we were kids, and we unpack what that does to a person. Plus Chance gives his very thorough, very Chance breakdown of the difference between a need and a want — and let's just say his look alone will make you reconsider asking him for $20,000.
