Fridays@First | A Season of Gratitude, Generosity, and Christmas Celebrations
As Stewardship Sunday approaches, Rev. Dr. Richard Gibbons shares a heartfelt message of gratitude for the generosity and faithful support of our First Pres congregation. This week on Fridays@First, he reflects on the importance of stewardship, looks ahead to Commitment Sunday on October 25, and encourages us to prayerfully consider how God is calling us to support His work in the coming year.
Richard also highlights the Operation Christmas Child Shoebox Appeal and gives us a preview of some exciting holiday events, including Christmas for a Cause, Steven Curtis Chapman's The Music of Christmas tour, and our beloved Christmas@First concerts, Behold Our God.
Plus, he welcomes new Congregational Care staff member Sara Galuppo, celebrates the participation of our Covenant Choir in Sunday worship, and offers a preview of this week's Stewardship Sunday message from 2 Corinthians 9:6–12.
