It’s another Friday Double Blind Tasting, and this time we’re putting two wheated bourbons from Boot Hill Distillery in Dodge City, Kansas head-to-head.
Both expressions use the exact same mash bill, but there’s a big difference between them. One is a regular release, while the other is a higher-age-statement single barrel.
Can we taste the difference without knowing which is which? Does the extra age and single-barrel character show up in the glass?
