  • Sometimes the Mightiest are the Most Humble with Barry Daniels
    2025/09/02

You likely don’t know who Barry Daniels is. Unless you were in one of

his choirs or musical productions, you would think he was just a regular

guy. A common theme I find in the interviews we do is that the people

who make the greatest impact on people’s lives have no clue they are

doing it. They also don’t think they are that good. Barry is one of

those guys. He's singing’s unsung hero. A man who challenged others,

who gave them opportunities and who made it hard to quit. Barry follows

his own drummer, like most of us founders and musicians, and his life

story is an excellent example of someone who has found his life.

  • Teachers Can Be Founders Too with Tim Moher, Bestival Founder
    2025/07/29

Dreams don’t just happen, they evolve. Tim had no idea where his music would take him, or if it would take him. Many musicians end up teaching, which is what Tim Moher did with the local school board, but it was a chance opportunity that saw him build a powerful voluntary music program that ultimately served over a thousand kids. The program he established and the stars that came out of it are testimony to the strength of community and fuel that it produces. After retiring from education, Tim wasn’t done. He went on to found Bestival using the same core ideologies that made him successful in the past. This is truly a lesson in making innovative things happen in very old organizations.
