  • Chapter 23: The Olivet Discourse - Hope and Faith
    2026/08/02
Many Christians are looking at today's world with fear. But is that how Jesus intended us to respond? In this sermon, we walk through the Olivet Discourse to discover that Christ gave prophecy not to frighten His people, but to strengthen their faith, encourage their hope, and prepare them for what lies ahead. As the day of His return draws closer, may our hearts burn with a greater love for Christ and a greater urgency to share the gospel with those who have yet to believe.

In this episode of Foundations in Faith, we begin John chapter 10 with an original parable illustrating the difference between a true shepherd and a hireling. We then examine John 10:1–21, where Jesus declares Himself to be both the Door of the sheep and the Good Shepherd who gives His life for the sheep. We consider how Christ knows His own, leads them by His voice, protects them from thieves and false shepherds, and gathers all believers into one fold under one Shepherd. Part Two of John chapter 10 will continue next week.

In this episode of Foundations in Faith, we explore John chapter 9 and the account of the man who was blind from birth. While the disciples debated the cause of his suffering and the Pharisees resisted the undeniable evidence, Jesus saw the man, opened his eyes, and brought him from darkness into light. His simple testimony—“Whereas I was blind, now I see”—exposes the danger of religious pride and reveals that true spiritual sight comes only through Jesus Christ, the Light of the world.

In this episode of Foundations in Faith, we examine one of the most powerful chapters in all of Scripture—John 8. Jesus declares, "I am the light of the world," reveals that the truth alone sets men free, and confronts the religious leaders with the sobering reality that every person has one of two spiritual fathers. We also explore the significance of John 8:44, where Jesus identifies Satan as the father of lies, and conclude with Christ's unmistakable declaration of His deity: "Before Abraham was, I AM." Join us for a verse-by-verse study that calls us to stand firmly on the truth of God's Word.

  • Chapter 18: Foundations In Faith Radio July 9, 2026
    2026/07/10
This week on Foundations in Faith, we begin with the Parable of the Sower and discover how the condition of the human heart determines whether God's Word takes root or is quickly forgotten. We then examine one of Jesus' most challenging commands: "If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me." What did Jesus really mean, and how should believers live out those words today? Finally, we continue our verse-by-verse journey through the Gospel of John as we explore chapter 7, where Jesus declares Himself the source of Living Water, calls His followers to judge righteous judgment, and once again divides the crowds with the truth of who He is. Join us as we open God's Word and seek to grow in faith through the unchanging truth of Scripture.

Did Jesus ignore the Law when He refused to condemn the woman caught in adultery, or was He actually fulfilling it? In this episode, we examine the remarkable connection between Numbers 5 and John 8, discovering how the Law of Moses points directly to Christ. We explore the role of the priest in judging accusations of adultery, why Jesus wrote on the ground, the hypocrisy of the Pharisees, and the beautiful balance of God's justice and mercy. Far from abolishing the Law, Jesus revealed Himself as the true High Priest and righteous Judge who offers forgiveness while calling sinners to repentance. Join us as we uncover another powerful example of the unity of God's Word from Genesis to Revelation. We also dive into John 6.

In this episode of Foundations in Faith, we continue our study through the Gospel of John by examining John chapter 5. Beginning with the healing of the crippled man at the Pool of Bethesda, we explore Christ's compassion, power, and authority over human suffering. As the chapter unfolds, Jesus makes some of the strongest declarations of His divine nature found anywhere in Scripture, revealing His unity with the Father, His authority to give life, and His role as the future Judge of all mankind. We also examine the witnesses that testify of Christ—John the Baptist, His miraculous works, the Father, the Scriptures, and even Moses himself. Join us as we discover how the entire chapter points to one central truth: Jesus Christ is the Son of God, and eternal life is found in Him alone.
