  • Interview - John Ablett - Featured Wood Gallery and Museum
    2026/05/26

John talks about the Featured Wood Gallery and Museum, what it takes, what it means and how you do it.

Bio John came to a Australind, over 30 years ago, and he's had the Featured Wood Gallery and Museum operating for about 30 years now.

My favourite quote of the episode is "Oh yeah. It's, look, what, what do they say? If you've got a job that you love, you'll never do a hard day's work in your life. And that's the way I. And, and look, it's, it's, it's lovely to get the accolades too. When people come in. It's nice to people to walk in and say, I visited, wow. And that was the main thing that I wanted was the wow factor. Very important."

  • Interview - David Blacker - Physician and Patient
    2026/04/14

David talks about being both physician and patient, what it takes, what it means and how you do it.

My favourite quote of the episode is "Hope is the exact ingredient that is, one of the famous, Neurologists from the Netherlands, named Bastiaan Bloem. He had a patient who talked about, we talk about dopamine replacement in Parkinson's, and Bas's patient, coined the term hopamine. If you give people hope, that really, can open up the world for them."

  • Interview - Dave Budge - The Event Team
    2026/04/07

Dave talks about The Event Team, what it takes, what it means and how to do it.

My favourite quote of the episode is " That's where the responsibility is on, you know, people that, deliver events, to make sure that, people will be talking about that experience, whether it's good or, you know, maybe they didn't achieve what they wanted to achieve in terms of goals, but they'll still be talking about it, you know, next year, in five years, in 10 years, or when they're having a beer with their mates in 30 or 40 year time."
