Life is messy. God is faithful. We’re three ordinary guys trying to follow Jesus in the middle of work, marriage, kids, struggles, and everything real life throws at us. No polish, no pretending — just honest conversations about being husbands, fathers, and disciples who get it wrong plenty but keep chasing Christ anyway. We dig into theology, culture, and whatever topics God puts in front of us, sharing our experiences, our failures, and what we’re learning along the way. We’re not chasing fame — just hoping our conversations help someone else walk a little closer with Jesus.Nick Wilson, Joshua Dennig, Brian Winchester キリスト教 スピリチュアリティ 聖職・福音主義

  • Episode Fifteen: The One Where That Verse Does Not Mean What You Think It Means
    2026/07/13

“I can do all things.” “Judge not.” “Money is the root of all evil.” “Turn the other cheek.” “God has plans to prosper you.”

The Bible says all of those things…right?

For our Season 1 finale, we are taking on some of the most quoted (and most misquoted) verses in Scripture. We dig into what these passages actually mean, why context matters, and how pulling a verse away from the surrounding text can completely distort its message.

There are jokes, motivational posters take a few casualties, and the Dutch somehow get dragged into it....but the point is serious: even Satan quoted Scripture. Knowing a verse is not the same thing as understanding it.

As we close out Season 1, we are also looking ahead to Season 2, where we will begin chasing the threads woven throughout the Bible and discovering how the whole story points us toward Christ.

Open your Bible. Read the next verse. Context matters.

  • Episode Fourteen: The One Where Pastor Brad Patterson Walks Us Through the Vote, the Word, and the Weirdness
    2026/06/29

Episode 14 is in the books, and this one gets into the weeds in the best way.

We had the privilege of sitting down with our pastor, Brad Patterson over at FBC Lavon to talk through the SBC: what it is, what it does, why it matters, and why the recent conversation around women in church leadership has stirred up so much debate.

We discuss the proposed amendment vote, how Brad voted, why he voted that way, and then we do what should always come first: we open Scripture.

This episode walks through women in leadership, the role of pastors and elders, feminism, cultural pressure, slippery slopes in church leadership, and the deep importance of women in the life and mission of the church.

This isn’t a conversation about winning arguments. It’s about asking whether the church will be shaped by culture, tradition, preference, or the Word of God.

Hard topic. Honest conversation. Open Bible.

  • Episode Thirteen: The One Where We Get Naked
    2026/06/15

    Adam hid behind fig leaves.

    We hide behind everything else.

From Genesis to the Cross, the Bible tells one story: humanity running from God and God pursuing humanity anyway.

In this episode, we'll unpack Jesus' command to deny yourself, take up your cross, and follow Him and why the self we're protecting might be the very thing keeping us from the life we're looking for.

The first Adam hid because he was naked. The last Adam hung naked on a cross so we would never have to hide again.
