Dr. Sean McDowell discusses the content in his book A Rebel’s Manifesto, helping young people wade through the cultural lies about God’s goodness, sex, and identity in light of God’s truth.

Like many couples, Bob and Wendy Griffith initially disagreed about foster care. Bob saw lots of obstacles. But after meeting with local community leaders about how his church could be more effective, the greatest need was in foster care. Thus began a personal journey for the Griffiths of fostering and adoption. Their example began a snowball effect of more families in the church getting involved in foster care ministry, having a profound impact on social workers, local foster families and church members who rallied to help these needy children. Wendy shares wonderful stories about “the power of 1 yes,” and Bob makes a powerful case for why Christians need to be involved in foster care ministry.
