CEDIA is making a smart move for UK technicians who are short on time but serious about standards: the Cabling and Infrastructure Technician (CIT) certification exam is going on the road. We break down what’s happening, why it matters, and how this change could make certification feel less like a distant “one day” goal and more like something you can actually book and achieve this autumn. If you work in custom installation, smart home integration, AV, networking, or structured cabling, this news is directly about your career runway.
