The vision of First Naples is to glorify God by being a multigenerational, multiethnic, multiplying church, that raises up the next generation of disciple makers, church planters, missionaries, and world changers, to reach our Neighbors to the Nations.

In today's episode, Pastor Alan, Pastor Thomas Keys, III and Mark Herzlich discuss the reality that we're not fighting against flesh and blood — instead we are fighting an enemy who wants us walking around with half our armor on and why "some of the armor" was never God's plan.

In Ephesians 2, Paul gives us our gospel identity in three movements: who we once were before Christ, who we now are because of Christ and what we are now called to do for Christ. We were dead in sin, but because of God’s great love towards us, we are now demonstrations of His grace and have been deployed for good works.

In Ephesians 4:17-24, Paul tells us that when you know who you are then you know what to think. If we are going to win the battle of our minds, we must put off the old way of thinking and put on the new way of thinking.

This week on Be The Church, Pastor Alan, Mark Herzlich and Hunter Robinson discuss Ephesians 4 and why the way we think matters so much, especially in an age when AI is tempting us toward cognitive surrender instead of a whole-life surrender to Jesus.

Baptism is a public declaration that Jesus is my Lord, the gospel is my confession, and I belong to His people.

Imitation starts in the heart before it ever shows up in the walk.

This week on Be The Church, Pastor Alan, Pastor Thomas Keys, III and Anajah Bakker discuss Paul’s letter to the Ephesians to explore what it truly means to live out a public, unashamed faith rooted in Jesus. Join us as we unpack how embracing Jesus as Lord, resting in the gospel, and taking the step of believer’s baptism allow us to stand united as the Church in a divided world.
