Our addiction to happiness shapes who we are, what we do, and what we do in mysterious ways. What if happiness is not all it is promised to be? What if there is another way of living where we may not find happiness all the time but, instead, find an eternal mission and destiny? That is something worth living for!

Most churches and Christians love to do things, especially things for God. These "doings" sometimes take us away from the mission Jesus actually gave us. This week we explore how we must let Jesus be and do everything He must while finding our place in relationship to Him. Let Jesus be Jesus, and we, as a church, do our best work when we point to Him.

We often might think of Jesus as Lord and Savior. Rightly so! How much time do we spend wondering about Jesus as a friend, a brother, or a family member? Jesus comes to us in so many different ways. He does so to reach our heart, which is longing for belonging and grace.

Everyone is tempted. Avoiding temptation is not the issue. How we handle temptation is. This week we explore how praying over temptation can lead us to a place of blessing. Just as Moses offered the Israelites their choice, so we must face ours as well.

Forgiveness is increasingly hard to do. Many people choose alienation and estrangement from others before making any effort for reconciliation. This story from Moses' life illustrates the meaning and power of forgiveness in a very unique way. We can learn much about sin, forgiveness, and grace from this very old and powerful story.

We might complain from time to time that God does not seem to be doing much. It does depend on where you are looking and what you might be expecting. God is always moving and working, but does so, most of the time, in human beings. This week, we take a closer look at Moses' way of living, "Your kingdom come. Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven."

"Our Father, who art in heaven,

Hallowed be thy Name."

Here is a prayer we often pray without always realizing what we are asking for or who we are praying to. Our God is one of relationships, like a family. Our prayer, like that of Moses, is for God to walk with us and be our guide.
