  • 9/11 and The Day of the Lord
    2026/09/10

What does 9/11 have to do with the Day of the Lord? In this short teaching, we reflect on the shock and uncertainty of September 11, 2001, and use it as an analogy for the biblical Day of the Lord—a time connected with trumpets, watchfulness, Messiah’s return, and the coming Kingdom.

The Day of Trumpets, also known as Yom Teruah, points us toward the return of Yeshua, the resurrection, and the Messianic Kingdom. This year, we are observing it as a double Sabbath from sundown September 11 through sundown September 12.

Join us in person in North Kansas City or online at 1:00 p.m. Central Time on our YouTube channel as we celebrate with worship, singing, dancing, food, fellowship, and joyful expectation of the return of Messiah.

May Yahweh bless you and keep you in the name of His Son, Yeshua.

  • Are We Gentiles? Understanding Adoption, Torah, and the Family of God
    2026/09/06

In this teaching, we examine who we are in relation to Yahweh and His Son, Yeshua. Are believers who keep Shabbat, observe the holy days, and follow the Torah simply “Gentiles,” or have we been adopted into the family of God and grafted into something that already existed?

This message walks through Acts 15, Second Temple Judaism, the early believers in Yeshua, the role of synagogue worship, and the biblical identity of those who have come out of error and into obedience. We discuss adoption, grafting in, responsibility, the Sabbath, the holy days, Yom Teruah, Yom Kippur, the return of Messiah, and why faithfulness means walking in Yahweh’s house rules with joy.

If you are seeking a deeper understanding of Torah-observant faith in Yeshua, first-century Christianity, Messianic identity, and what it means to be part of the family of God, this teaching is for you.

  • We Are Not the Nations | Shabbat Message Preview
    2026/09/01

In this short preview, we begin thinking through an important distinction: we are not the nations who grew up serving false gods. Many of us came out of flawed Christianity, corrected our walk, adopted Torah, and held fast to faith in Yeshua as the Son of God. Now the question turns toward our children, their children, and the generations growing up in this walk.

Join us this Shabbat at 1 p.m. Central Time on the YouTube live feed as we continue the discussion. May Yahweh bless you and keep you in the name of His Son, Yeshua. https://www.youtube.com/@firstcenturychristianity
