In Ecclesiastes 2, Solomon continues to share all the experiences he went through as he attempted to find joy and satisfaction in life. In today's message, Pastor Jeff Sheeks shows how he compares wisdom with foolishness and shows how it all leads to the same end on earth -- death. But as believers, we know death is not the end. We have the promise of life with God forever.

In this message, we continue our study in Ecclesiastes, looking to chapter 2 where Solomon shares all the different ways that he tried to enjoy life without God. Solomon tried everything imaginable to enjoy life and numb the pain of reality. He tried drowning himself in his work. He tried laughing and drinking the pain away, and he tried accumulating treasures. In all these things, Solomon came to the realization that none of it satisfied. It was all meaningless.

In this message, Pastor Jeff Sheeks continues our study through Ecclesiastes. At the end of Ecclesiastes 1, Solomon shows that no amount of human wisdom, research, or knowledge can provide what God gives to those who follow him. He shows that every bit of searching after the things of this world is all grasping after the wind. It doesn't lead to where you thought it would and it doesn't bring satisfaction.
