    Jameis Winston has the New York Giants at 3-1-1 and in first place in the NFC East, five weeks into John Harbaugh's first season and three starts after Jaxson Dart's knee injury. The question for this episode: is it real? The proof. Winston is 2-0-1 as the starter. At Washington he went 33 of 54 for 326 yards, three touchdowns and no interceptions, and he is the first Giant with back-to-back three-touchdown games since Eli Manning in 2016, per Giants.com. Malik Nabers caught 11 for 121 and the tying touchdown with 1:43 left. Isaiah Likely caught 11 for 94 and two scores. The pass rush finally showed up with five sacks, two from Dru Phillips. The problems. Dominic Zvada went 2 of 5 on field goals, missing from 50, 57 and 46 in overtime. Jayden Daniels ran for 103 yards and two touchdowns, Washington rushed for 202, and the Giants forced zero turnovers while losing two fumbles. Washington had a 42-yard kick lined up to win and never got the snap off. The Eagles and Cowboys are 2-3. The Saints come to MetLife Stadium next at 1-4, then Houston, then the bye. Now the Giants weigh adding a quarterback, and we rank every option. The free agents: Jimmy Garoppolo (43-21 as a starter, 67.4% career completion, but no pass attempts in 2025) and Jake Browning, released by Tampa Bay at cutdowns. The trade market: Mac Jones, who went 5-3 filling in for Brock Purdy last season but, per Adam Schefter, would cost a lot, and Gardner Minshew, who played for Giants OC Matt Nagy in Kansas City. The upside swings: J.J. McCarthy, now third string in Minnesota after 11 TDs and 12 INTs in 2025, and Joe Milton, a practice squad arm in Dallas. Per Schefter, the Giants have not contacted Minnesota about McCarthy or San Francisco about Jones, and will evaluate after Week 3. Giants vs Titans reaction, live from the final whistle: Giants 12, Titans 7 at MetLife, the first win without Jaxson Dart, and Brian Burns down with a right knee injury in the fourth quarter. Anthony Rivardo goes live with Alex Wilson of Empire Sports Media. Jameis Winston went 14 of 22 for 118 yards with no touchdowns and no interceptions in a nor'easter. Every Giants point came from rookie kicker Dominic Zvada, four for four from 39, 27, 39 and 30 yards. The offense ran it 33 times for 138 yards, Cam Skattebo had 100 from scrimmage, Najee Harris added 52 on nine carries, and the Giants held the ball for 34:26. The red zone number is the problem: 0 for 2, and 4 of 13 on third down. The defense and Jordan Stout won the game. Stout averaged 50.5 on six punts with three inside the 20 and a 74-yarder. Jevon Holland picked off Cam Ward in the end zone with 17 seconds left, his third interception in three games. Arvell Reese led everyone with 13 tackles. Tennessee gained 262 yards and turned it over twice, including Chimere Dike's fumble on the opening kickoff. All numbers per the ESPN box score. Then the Burns question. The No. 4 pick of the 2024 NFL Draft has 5 catches for 85 yards in four games and the league is calling the Arizona Cardinals. The Cardinals have given no indication they want to trade him, per ESPN's Dan Graziano. Adam Schefter says it would not be a surprise if Harrison is moved before the Nov. 10 trade deadline, and the Colts are already making calls. Executives told ESPN's Jeremy Fowler his value is a quality Day 3 pick. The numbers tell the story. Harrison had 885 yards and 8 touchdowns as a rookie, 608 yards in 12 games in 2025, and 13 targets this season while Trey McBride and Michael Wilson have 90 between them, per Pro Football Reference. Behind Malik Nabers, the Giants' next wide receiver is Malachi Fields with 8 catches. Then the mock trade: Kayvon Thibodeaux to Arizona for Marvin Harrison Jr., straight up, no picks. Thibodeaux has zero sacks in 2026 and is a free agent in March on a $14.75 million fifth-year option. Harrison is 24 and under contract through 2027 with a 2028 option, per Spotrac. Winston is 3-9 in his last 12 starts and went 11 of 27 for 111 yards in relief at the Rams. Brian Daboll, fired by the Giants at 2-8 in 2025, is now the Titans' offensive coordinator, and Brian Callahan and Dennard Wilson moved the other way. The Titans are 0-2. Cam Ward has 323 passing yards, one touchdown and no interceptions through two games, and Tennessee has punted on 61.1 percent of its possessions per Sharp Football Analysis, the only team in the league over 50 percent. Final injury report: Brian Burns (ankle), Deonte Banks (calf) and Tyler Nubin (calf) are questionable, and Burns missed all three practices. Andrew Thomas and Malik Nabers have no designation.
