In this powerful message, Finish the Race, Pastor Putnam encourages believers to remain faithful to Jesus Christ through every season of life. Drawing from Hebrews 12:1–2 and the illustration of runners crossing the finish line of a marathon, he reminds us that the Christian journey is not about how quickly we run, but about enduring faithfully until the end. Through biblical examples such as Elijah and Peter, we are reminded that weariness is not defeat, failure does not have to be final, and God's grace gives us the strength to rise again. Pastor Putnam challenges us to lay aside every weight and sin that hinders our spiritual growth, remain disciplined in prayer and God's Word, and keep our eyes fixed on Jesus when the road becomes difficult. No matter what challenges, disappointments, or battles we face, we must refuse to give up. Our ultimate victory is not found in worldly recognition or earthly accomplishments, but in fulfilling God's purpose for our lives and keeping the faith until the end. The challenge is simple: Don't quit before the finish line! Keep moving toward Jesus, finish the course God has set before you, and live for the day when you hear Him say, “Well done, thou good and faithful servant.” To learn more about what God is doing in Sheboygan County and beyond, visit us at posc.church!
