What happens to your faith when you’re trusting God in suffering, praying for healing, and nothing seems to change?

You know God is good. But unanswered prayer can leave you wondering why His goodness doesn’t look the way you thought it would.

How long can you keep praying when the answer still hasn’t come? And what happens when life takes something from you that prayer can’t bring back?

Lara Silverman had just stepped into the career she had worked years for when a mysterious neurological illness changed everything.

What followed forced her to wrestle with a question much bigger than whether her circumstances would change:

Is God’s goodness something we measure by what He gives us?

Because if His goodness isn’t measured by the outcome you’ve been praying for, where do you look for evidence that He’s still there?

Lara’s story may help you recognize His goodness in places suffering can make incredibly hard to see.
