After 22 years of preaching about Jesus, I wanna make sure I know Him.

For more than two decades, I stood behind a pulpit telling people who Jesus was, what He said, and what it meant to follow Him. I knew the sermons. I knew the theology. I knew the answers. Then I stepped away from the pulpit—and started asking questions I hadn’t allowed myself to ask before. Do I really know Jesus? Or do I know the version of Him I inherited?

Finding Jesus Again is my journey back to the beginning. I’m opening the Gospel of John, starting with chapter one, verse one, and walking through it. No pretending. No questions off limits. No requirements. No script. We’ll look at what Jesus actually said, the people He welcomed, the questions He asked, and the claims He made—and we’ll wrestle honestly with what we’ve been taught along the way. This isn’t about finding a new religion or a new denomination. It’s about finding Jesus.

Whether you still love the church, have been hurt by it, are questioning everything you once believed, or simply want to know Jesus more deeply, you’re invited to come along.

Bring your Bible. Bring your questions. Bring your doubts.

Let’s go back to John and meet Jesus again.

Episode 11 — The Will of God: In John 6, Jesus gives a remarkably simple answer to a question we often make complicated: “What does God want me to do?” Jesus says the work of God is to believe in the One He sent. As the Bread of Life, Jesus offers something religion, rules, and our own efforts never could—eternal life. And He reveals the heart of the Father: God’s will is that everyone who sees the Son and believes in Him will have eternal life.

In Episode 10 of Finding Jesus Again, we see something important about the heart of Jesus: He cares about people and their needs, and He calls us to care too. You may not have much to give, but you have something—a little time, kindness, food, a phone call, or a listening ear. When we put what we have in the hands of Jesus, even something small can become something much bigger. If we really want to find Jesus again, maybe part of the answer is simple: see people the way Jesus saw them—and do something.

In Episode 9 of Finding Jesus Again, we continue through John 5 and hear Jesus explain who He is, His relationship with the Father, and the life He came to give. We’ll look at the contrast between religion that condemns and Jesus who offers life, grace, and hope—and ask what it means to truly believe and follow Him.
