Welcome Back to the Table! This week on Finding Atoria, Patrick and Arcadia sink their teeth into Anne Rice’s Immortal Universe RPG, exploring the new game inspired by Interview with the Vampire and the gothic world of AMC’s supernatural universe.

We dig into the game's intriguing mechanics, its focus on memory, relationships, and emotional damage, and how it stacks up against familiar vampire RPGs like Vampire: The Masquerade. Can the rules make immortal heartbreak as compelling as supernatural power? And how many centuries does it take to develop decent communication skills? We've got questions, and these vampires have some explaining to do!

Welcome Back to the Table! We’ve built a kaiju. Marty is Awesome! But now it’s time to create someone who has to live in a world with them. This week, Malcolm and Arcadia return to Leviathan Rising from OddFish Games for a character-creation walkthrough. Follow along as we work through a fast Archetype Character Build from the Leviathan Rising Quickstart. Listen in as we roll dice, make choices, and tie it all together to see who takes shape along the way. Pull up a chair for a peek into the world of Leviathan Rising and see how easy—and fun—it can be to create an agent of your own. The giant monsters have had their turn. Let’s meet someone a little closer to the ground.

A Quick Note: WordLeaf Media, the parent company of Finding Atoria, is currently working with OddFish Games to help create the Leviathan Rising Player’s Manual. We’re excited to be involved with the project, but as always, the thoughts, opinions, and questionable decisions you hear around the Finding Atoria table are our own.

Welcome Back to the Table! We’re bringing you sects, sects, and more sects…you try to say it fast. Malcolm and Arcadia continue our Vampire: The Masquerade - A Beginner’s Guide to Sects with a look at the Anarchs. These Kindred have plenty of reasons to reject elder rule, but agreeing on what comes next is another matter. From the First Anarch Revolt to California’s Anarch Free State and the changing politics of V5, we explore how the Movement took shape and where it stands in the World of Darkness. What holds an Anarch community together? Can a Baron become the very thing the revolution fought against? And what makes a vampire choose the Movement in the first place? Along the way, we look at the Anarchs’ complicated relationships with the Camarilla and Sabbat, and what players should know before bringing an Anarch to their table. Pull up a chair—there’s more to rebellion than overthrowing the Prince!
