Like so many female characters in horror movies these days, Mary is left to deal with a whiny man-baby who can’t hold himself accountable for the sh*tty way he’s treated women, so that’s her first Final Girl fight. But there are many more FG fights she encounters, including escaping a scary tall pirate and getting trapped in the World’s Creepiest Bile-Hued Liminal Space. It’s safe to say this movie is straight up psychological TERROR, and Kellie is here for it (Sarah doesn’t need to see it again.)
