Welcome to WRR 265 for September 21-27. Pacific Current capped the inaugural Ultimate Sevens season with Grand Final glory in London, while Argentina's Yaguaretés claimed South American Games gold. Fijiana lifted the first-ever WXV Global Series Challenger trophy in Hong Kong, while in the top tier, a late Zoe Harrison interception sank the Black Ferns, France shut down Canada, and the USA Eagles won in Cardiff. Off the field, Oceania Rugby cancelled its regional 7s Cup, leaving Pacific teams without a clear pathway to SVNS 3, while Bangladesh signed a landmark MOU to grow the women's game. Domestically, the Farah Palmer Cup semifinals are set, with Auckland, Waikato, Canterbury, and Manawatū chasing the Premiership title.
