Professional email is one of those small life skills girls will use everywhere—from high school and college to jobs, internships, volunteering, healthcare, applications, and eventually the workplace.

In this Field Assignment episode of The Girls’ Field Guide, the challenge is simple: make sure a high school girl has a professional email address, then have her write and send one real professional email.

The goal is not perfect wording. It is helping girls get comfortable communicating clearly and independently.

If she does not already have one, help her create a professional email address using a simple version of her name.

Then have her send one real professional email.
