Fear is something necessary or limiting. It is necessary when you need to protect yourself from immediate danger. On the other hand, fear can limit you from achieving your happiness. Recognizing when fear is necessary because you are in danger versus when it is just a phobia helps you to break free from your limitations. Things happen in this funny thing called life. Fear can seem to come out of nowhere, sometimes. Staying present helps you to classify the kind of fear you are experiencing. If it is fear that is to keep you alive, it is critical that you know this fear in the right situation. If it is fear-based on a phobia or lack of experience, this can be sorted with techniques like therapy, exposure, or switching the focus from the fear to something else.
