It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm then and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery. Jesus came to set us free, and he wants us to stay free.

We are called to remember what Jesus did, remember who you are in Christ, and hold fast to truth even when false teachings and corrupt influences try to sow weeds into the garden of your heart.

Many of us can live in the land of the free and still be inwardly enslaved — to worry, anxiety, anger, bitterness, fear, or habits that hold us back.

False teachers will come promising freedom, but they themselves are slaves of corruption; they speak empty words, offer hollow promises, and lead people back into bondage. When you find yourself ensnared, there is a way out: repent, reject, and eject.

If you are struggling in the weeds today, Jesus wants to set you free. He loves you, He is with you, and He will cut away everything that has ensnared you. Stay free in Christ.
