On this week’s episode of Mighty Champions: Action Figure Radio, we kick things off with our massive toy hauls from Eckman’s Toy Show in San Antonio, including the best pickups, surprises, and finds from the show floor.
Then we say goodbye to one of the biggest modern TMNT toy runs with a full NECA Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles retrospective. We look back at the cartoon line, movie figures, comic releases, and everything in between, then speculate on what Mattel’s upcoming TMNT line could look like and where they might take the license next.
After that, we break down the latest action figure news from McFarlane DC Multiverse, G.I. Joe Classified, Marvel Legends, AEW, WWE, Masters of the Universe, Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, and more.
Finally, it’s Action Figure Missions Part 4. We each present the other with a fully written mission and have to assemble the perfect five-figure team to complete it using their powers, weapons, accessories, action features, and pure toy logic.
If you’re into TMNT, NECA, Mattel, Marvel Legends, G.I. Joe Classified, wrestling figures, DC Multiverse, vintage toys, or modern action figure collecting, this episode is packed with toy show pickups, nostalgia, news, and one of our favorite recurring challenges.
