FAMU vs Jackson State has quickly become one of the top four rivalries in the SWAC. This is honestly a happy accident that has been the result of adding one of the largest HBCU brands in the nation into a conference that had the luxury of having the other most polarizing brand within its ranks.

Well this annual game has been the defacto SWAC Championship for nearly a half decade and a new power potential rising in the western division of the conference this game continues to be one of the most important games within the SWAC.

The 2025 Homecoming for FAMU could be extremely interesting for many, especially those who plan to use this event to monetize the weekend.

Hotel prices will likely stay at the same rate but the question of how many will stay away in protest becomes apparent as many have vowed to reduce the amount of support they give to FAMU.

The game will hopefully be packed and the atmosphere will definitely be tense.

Also FAMU Golf & Track are continuing to build support for the teams; all this takes place as the Baseball team makes an addition and the basketball team looks to fill its roster.

It is definitely not a Rivalry but at the end of FAMU’s time in the MEAC one of the must watch games was North Carolina Central.

This game was good for a close outcome and was the game that many of us predicted would be the matchup for the Celebration Bowl.

Well the Celebration Bowl predictions proved to be just that, but we do get what could be a battle between two of the top teams in HBCU football .

Additionally the fact that this is camp season has resulted in a few student athletes receiving an offer to continue playing sports at the Highest of Seven Hills.
