FAMU Fans had all of less than half of a week to be upset about the Football teams Preseason rankings before news that FAMU came to an agreement with the University of Georgia that cancelled a potential $650,000 pay day.

This at a time when the Athletic department is on a Strike tour and the very same athletic department is asking fans to contribute for the purchase of basketball uniforms.

While some are angry about the loss exposure, the bigger issue is lost revenue at a time when multiple fund raising opportunities are all circling around the beginning of Football Season.

It is way to early truly start the preseason predictions, largely because we are still waiting to get information about what some of the final rosters will look like.

But the aggregate of what many of the FAMU Faithful are looking for is growth.

Whether it be on or off the field FAMU faithful want to see growth, especially from those who have been placed on campus under this current administration.

At a time when many people are going fishing it has become apparent that FAMU’s coaches are working on stocking the room with talent.

From football, to Volleyball and definitely both Basketball teams we have seen a ton of offers go out and hope that some of the students decide to commit to FAMU.

We also have some good questions being asked about FAMU leadership while we get some new season ticket ideas that some like and others hate.

Good time for some good ideas.
