Join Tricia Barr and Sarah Woloski in a deep dive into spoiler territory for The Mandalorian and Grogu. While Din Djarin might not have moved quite as far as we expected, Grogu's journey in this movie was a pleasant surprise. Also a surprise, Rotta the Hutt's evolution from Stinky, the son of Jabba the Hutt in the Clone Wars animated movie, to a rebellious older teen stepping out from under his father's shadow.

A new Star Wars animated show, Maul: Shadow Lord, will debut on Disney+. Fangirls Going Rogue had a chance to sit down with voice actors Sam Witwer (Maul) and Gideon Adlon (Devon Izara) as well as creatives Athena Yvette Portillo (EP), Matt Michnovetz (EP), and Brad Rau (Supervising Director). A lot has happened in the opening weeks of 2026!

Kathleen Kennedy retired. Dave Filoni and Lynwen Brennan were elevated to President and Co-President respectively. Josh D'Amaro was elevated to CEO of Disney. The Super Bowl featured an unconventional spot for The Mandalorian and Grogu.
