Life will present us with moments of correction, failure, and pressure. We cannot always control what happens to us, but we can choose how we respond. Our response can determine whether we remain stuck, return to God, or grow in faith.

Ps Ray finishes this three week series on the Family Church value 'We Value Gathering' by focusing on the small church aspect of our Christian life. In Family Church we have Connect Groups where people meet in small groups to share life, prayer, bible verses and more with the aim of being able to disciple eachother and grow in the daily walk with Jesus.

This week Ps Steu begins a new three part series on the Family Church value "We Value Gathering".

We value gathering in well led congregations defined by joy, celebration, excellence and generosity. Everyone has seat at the table and we honour unique talents, skills and spiritual gifts from everyone. Our desire is to seek God's empowerement to successfully accomplish His work.

We must not allow ourselves to get lost between two worlds, the world of what could be, and the world that is. The world of what if and the world of now.

If we allow ourselves to get lost in this space in between worlds we will never make our mark for Jesus. The world of the imaginary is a dangerous place that if it doesn't have the moral compass of the Holy Ghost and the word of God, we can get lost.

For the art world we have seen this time and time again, mental illness has a strong and significant reputation in the lives of many artists. I believe this is because we are called to be conduits of creativity the spiritual process of bringing something from one plane of existence to another.

The more humanity does this without the Holy Spirit, the more at risk we are of delving into a spiritual plane we have no compass for. We are all meant to create something. But what? That's up to you.

For me, I have decided to use the imaginary, the creative process to bring the mind and heart of God into the world.

What about you?

We have a clear list of ingredients from God to the church about how we are to be effective in this world.

1. we need to be connected, to him and each other, we need to have a connection that removes the face in a crowd mentality.

2. Community, once we have that connection, we organically become something more - A community. A community defends each other, protects each other, loves each other, sacrifices for each other, a community even corrects each other and leads each other.

3. Communication, as we move through the complexity of life in the power of unity within the community, we are able to effectively communicate the Gospel. Listen to the full message for more!

Remembering God is crucial to victorious living, but how exactly do we do that? Number 1 we do it with our testimony, our stories of his goodness is how we remember God and number 2 reading scripture, obeying the word is how we bring God into our present moment through remembrance of his word. But what happens when we forget God, Sin is what happens when we forget God, but how is remembering God linked to victory over sin? listen to the full message.

This Sunday we have three testimonies - Hadassah, Marika and Pastor Sarah. - three stories with one common theme, Jesus met them where they were. Jesus saved them where they were, and they walk with Jesus today. Each of us have our own story, and chapters are still being written. But is Jesus at the heart of it?
