In today's episode, we talk about what it actually means for the Lord to give us the desires of our hearts.

We are, once again, doing a very unique episode today! But this one hits close to home as I share a little bit about how the Lord has been working my life.

In today's episode, read some of the more known Bible verse. But I don't want that to stop us from seeing the deep, incredible love the Lord has for us.

As we sit down and read this well-known verse, I don't want you to listen with a "I've-already-heard-these-Bible-verse-a-hundred-times-before" mindset. I want you to take a step back and really soak in just how much Jesus truly loves YOU!

This episode is similar to one I've shared before. I have a long tour coming up and I'm out of time. So, my hope in this episode is not so much to learn something in the Bible, necessarily, but maybe to have a "little catching up" episode.

I also wanted to do something a little different... I want to hear from y'all and get to know y'all a little better!

You know those random, but sometimes frequent, times when everything seems to go wrong? You wake up and before you even make it to the bathroom, you've stubbed your toe. It's one thing after another and you just feel like the devil is out to get you...

What if those unfortunate things that go wrong aren't happening because you have done something wrong? What if that is actually an invitation from the Lord to draw closer to Him? What if the Lord is using those circumstances to grow your relationship with Him? That's not bad. That's the Best Day Ever!

I've found myself, here recently, going to ChatGPT with things before I go to the Lord with it. I couldn't put my finger on why exactly I was doing that, aside from seeking answers to my questions. I didn't understand why I acted as if I thought ChatGPT was better than the Lord... then it dawn on me. We live in a world that wants what it wants when we want it.

So, when I was seeking answers, the fastest place to get said answers was from Chat. Let me just give you some "big sister advice" and say that is NOT a good way to go about things. We should not be turning to Chat before we turn to the Lord. Scripture tells us "Seek first the Kingdom of God".

In today's episode, my prayer is that y'all will learn from my mistake and not turn to Chat before turning to God in prayer. ❤️

I've been reading through the second book of the Bible, Exodus, and I've been reading about how the Israelites forgot the works of the Lord. Did you know that forgetting the works of the Lord is a sin? I didn't either.

In today's episode, we dive into what it looked like for the Israelites to forget the works of the Lord and, more importantly, what we can do to keep from falling into that same sin. Gratitude, I believe, is one of the biggest ways we can keep from forgetting what God has done for us and in our lives!
